MOTOR VEHICLE INSPECTIONS

All vehicles with out-of-state titles, salvage or non-highway must be inspected prior to being registered in the State of Kansas.
Vehicles registering from out-of-state to Kansas need the following information:
   Original Title only (copies are not accepted)
   Current proof of insurance
   Valid Driver's License (Kansas DL not required)
   $20 CASH FEE

   SALVAGE, NON-HIGHWAY AND OUT OF STATE REBUILT SALVAGE INSPECTIONS

   Require a Kansas Highway Patrol inspection.

These inspections are done on Tuesday afternoon 1:00-4:00 at Sherriff's Office.

KHP inspection is $25.00.
