Nemaha County Emergency management is accepting sealed bids for a Bauer compressor built in August of 2004. This compressor is the original compressor used in the County’s breathing air trailer, and has the capacity to build pressure to 2200 psi.

The compressor received yearly maintenance from Feld Fire, Inc. in Grain Valley, Missouri, and was last certified in October 2024.  The compressor was replaced this year to allow for a higher capacity compressor to be installed in our breathing air trailer used to fill self contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) oxygen tanks for our local firefighters.
